Craft-o-rama '08

Like Joel said, I headed up to Chattanooga, TN last weekend for a girl's weekend full of catching up, eating, crafting, exploring, and most importantly, eating. This is a group of girls I had the blessing of getting to know while we were in Huntsville. We came together through various connections and because we all either knit or wanted to learn. Two of the ladies are currently preggers, one due in October and one in February, so that was fun to celebrate and also sometimes disturbing to hear some of their stories. I won't go into details. Of course we didn't want to make them feel bad in this time of 'eating for two', so the rest of us were very gracious and also pigged out. What good friends we are :)

Chattanooga is a really cool town, and if any of you get the chance to visit that area, or anywhere around eastern TN/northern GA/northern AL I'd definitely recommend it. The hills are beautiful.

Oh, almost forgot, our hotel! We stayed at the real 'Chattanooga Choo-Choo' from the famous '40's song (well, it was the Holiday Inn built on the grounds, but still, it was cool).





Good times had by all :)
