Gatorland

Michelle and I stopped at Lake Alice (on UF campus) after work this morning. You see it pictured in the blog header photo above. Lake Alice makes a great home for alligators, several of which are pictured below. We saw lots of interesting things there today, but it was probably most exciting to see baby gators for the first time.

We were in and out of our respective labs during the long weekend so it wasn't much of a holiday. But, we made it to a Gators women's volleyball game on Friday and out for pizza and games with friends Saturday. I should mention here that Gainesville has a quirky little pizza place called Satchels where we ate the week before. I'll add their blog to the list on the right. Check that out along with the link above. Fantastic pizza, interesting junk everywhere; we promise to take any visitors there.
