When it rains

It pours. So much so that the water almost comes in our front door. Actually it spills over the sidewalk before that. But, to have the water an inch from the doorstep is a bit unsettling.

You'll notice that we do have the canoe ready out in front, in case we need to float away to get our groceries or something.

Most of the precipitation that falls in this part of Florida does so during June, July, and August, and September, almost always associated with convective storms. It only took about 15 minutes for this 'puddle' to form here.

You should move a downspout or two if possible. That may help the situation.
