Spring

Yup. For the last week or so (azaleas above). But also a bit of fall, too. Live and laurel oak, two commonly planted native trees, are dropping many of their leaves now. It's strange (to us) to see buds break, dogwoods bloom, and good bit of the urban canopy fall at the same time.

The first baseball game of the year is a good measure of spring. We watched the Gator men play last night. They ended up losing to the higher ranked Miami, but are otherwise off to a good start this season. A few players from the women's volleyball team sat in front of us in the stands. They're big, literally!

Michelle is playing in an ultimate frisbee tournament today. The name of the tournament is 'frostbreaker'. Yeah, I'd say. And then some. It's 78 degrees!
